The covered housing provider must give each applicant and each tenant HUD's Notice of Occupancy Rights under the Violence Against Women Act and the HUD-approved certification form: when an applicant is denied assistance or admission, when the individual is provided assistance or admission, and with any notification of eviction or termination of assistance. For the HCV and PBV programs the HUD-required lease, lease addendum or tenancy addendum must describe the specific protections afforded to victims.
