Each grantee must ensure that records are maintained for a FOUR-YEAR period to document compliance with 24 CFR part 574, and must maintain at minimum current and accurate data on the race and ethnicity of program participants; documentation that the grantee submitted a certification that it will affirmatively further fair housing consistent with 24 CFR 5.150 and 5.151; and data on emergency transfers requested under 24 CFR 5.2005(e) pertaining to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault or stalking, including data on the outcomes of those requests. Separately and without a time limit, the grantee must agree, and must ensure that each project sponsor agrees, to ensure the CONFIDENTIALITY of the name of any individual assisted under the part and any other information regarding individuals receiving assistance. The grantee must also maintain and make available to HUD for inspection financial records sufficient in HUD's determination to ensure proper accounting and disbursing of grant amounts.
