Nine documents must be attached to the lease, and the move-in inspection report is one of them

The lease is not complete on its own. The owner must attach to it the tenant- and owner-signed HUD-50059; the HUD-50059-A signed by the owner and, where applicable, the tenant; the move-in inspection report signed by both owner and tenant; the house rules where the owner has developed any; the lead-based paint disclosure form where the property predates 1978; the pet rules where applicable; the owner's live-in aide addendum where applicable; the owner's police or security personnel addendum where applicable; and, for Section 8 units, the HUD-issued VAWA lease addendum. A live-in aide addendum must establish that the aide may not remain in the unit once the tenant is no longer living there, whatever the reason for the tenant's departure.
