Mod Rehab housing must meet the part 5 subpart G physical condition standards plus the space requirements
mod_rehab.property_standards.part5_subpart_g · v1.0.0
Housing in the Moderate Rehabilitation program must be maintained and inspected in accordance with 24 CFR part 5 subpart G. In addition, a dwelling unit that is not SRO housing must have a living room, a kitchen area and a bathroom, and at least one bedroom or living/sleeping room for each two persons.
The occupancy standard in 882.404(b) - one bedroom or living/sleeping room per two persons - is a Mod Rehab-specific physical requirement with no analogue in the HCV rule, and it interacts with 882.509 on overcrowded units.
