Eligibility for housing assistance payments continues until total tenant payment equals gross rent

mod_rehab.subsidy.continuation_until_ttp_equals_gross_rent · v1.0.0

A family's eligibility for housing assistance payments continues until the Total Tenant Payment equals the Gross Rent. Termination of eligibility at that point does not affect the family's other rights under its lease and does not preclude resumption of payments as a result of later changes in income, rents or other relevant circumstances during the term of the contract. Eligibility may also be terminated for failure to submit requested verification information, failure to meet the Social Security Number disclosure and verification requirements, failure to sign and submit consent forms, or the net asset and property ownership restrictions.

Unlike PBV, part 882 sets no 180-day window after which the unit leaves the contract; the family simply stays on with no payment until circumstances change.
