The tenant-based reexamination rules at 982.516 apply to PBV families
pbv.recertification.annual_and_interim · v1.0.0
Subpart K of part 982 does not generally apply to PBV assistance, but 24 CFR 982.516 does. A PBV family's income and composition must therefore be reexamined at least annually with third-party verification documented in the tenant file, and an interim reexamination must be conducted when the PHA becomes aware of an estimated increase of ten percent or more in annual adjusted income.
Do not reach for HUD-50059 or TRACS here. PBV is a PIH programme: the family report is the HUD-50058 and the submission system is PIC/IMS, not TRACS.
