A RAD PBV resident may move with continued tenant-based assistance after the first year of occupancy
rad_pbv.tenant_selection.choice_mobility · v1.0.0
If the family elects to terminate the assisted lease at any time after the first year of occupancy in accordance with program requirements, the PHA must offer the family the opportunity for continued tenant-based rental assistance, either under the voucher program or other comparable tenant-based rental assistance. Where, as a result of RAD, the PHA's total PBV units under HAP contract exceed 20 percent of its authorized units, the PHA may adopt an alternative mobility policy under which it need not provide more than three-quarters of its turnover vouchers in any single year to residents of Covered Projects; if it adopts a turnover cap it must maintain a waiting list in the order requests were received.
