Rural Development will conduct a compliance review and physical inspection of on-farm labor housing at least once every 3 years. The review inspects tenant eligibility documentation; financial information on the operation and management of the labor housing including relevant borrower financial materials; payment of taxes, insurance and hazard insurance; compliance with the security deposit requirements; compliance with the operating plan; compliance with the loan agreement; compliance with Agency requirements for affordable, decent, safe and sanitary housing; and compliance with civil rights requirements. On-farm labor housing must meet state and local building and occupancy codes.
