s202prac.unit_transfer.overcrowded_or_underoccupied · v1.0.0
Where the owner determines that, because of a change in household size, an assisted unit is smaller or larger than appropriate for the eligible household leasing it, the project rental assistance payment for that unit is not reduced or terminated until the household has been relocated to an appropriate alternate unit. If possible the owner must offer the household an appropriate alternate unit as promptly as possible. The owner may receive vacancy payments for the vacated unit if it complies with 24 CFR 891.445.
