The owner must recertify each assisted family's income and composition annually, with the recertification effective on the anniversary of the move-in date, following the prescribed notice and interview schedule.
HOTMA Section 102 changes the interim recertification framework and the streamlined recertification options for fixed-income families. For certifications effective on or after the property's HOTMA compliance date, apply the HOTMA rules instead.
