If occupied assisted units fall below the contract count, the next available appropriate unit must be designated as an assisted unit

s811pra.next_available_unit.redesignation_to_restore_the_contract_unit_count · v1.0.0

The owner must lease assisted units only to eligible families, must tell the grantee or its designee of a vacancy, and must hold the unit open for a reasonable period. If no eligible tenant is identified within a reasonable period as determined by the grantee, the owner may lease that unit to a household that is not eligible for the PRA programme, and that household gets no rental assistance. Where the number of occupied PRA assisted units at the property then falls below the Total Number of Assisted Units in Exhibit 1 of Part I of the contract, the owner must designate the next available appropriate unit as an assisted unit until the count is restored.
