In a project receiving Section 811 Project Rental Assistance, assisted, disability-used and disability-preferenced units together may not exceed 25% of all units
s811pra.unit_designation.twenty_five_percent_project_cap · v1.0.0
Of the total number of dwelling units in any multifamily housing project containing any unit for which project rental assistance under 42 U.S.C. 8013(b)(3) is provided, the aggregate number that are provided such project rental assistance, that are used for supportive housing for persons with disabilities, or to which any occupancy preference for persons with disabilities applies, may not exceed 25 percent of the total. The cap aggregates three overlapping categories, so a project counting only its PRA-assisted units will understate its exposure. Unlike the parallel cap on the capital advance side at 8013(e)(4), the PRA cap carries no group home or independent living facility exception.
