A recipient that employs fifteen or more persons must designate at least one person to coordinate its compliance with 24 CFR part 8, and must adopt grievance procedures incorporating appropriate due process standards that provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints. It must also take appropriate initial and continuing steps to notify participants, beneficiaries, applicants and employees -- including those with impaired vision or hearing -- that it does not discriminate on the basis of disability, and that notification must identify the designated coordinator. Recruitment materials and publications containing general information must carry a statement of the policy.
